I like to describe myself as an art historian reborn as a ceramist: my encounter with ceramics represented a true rebirth, opening up new paths and leading to unexpected encounters and discoveries. For many years, as a freelance art historian, I organised exhibitions, published books and taught at La Sapienza University (Rome). Ceramic art is a recent discovery, which I immersed myself in, establishing an instinctive relationship with the material and the modelling process.
