Mattia Cleri Polidori was born in Rome in January 1987. He got his first degree in Painting at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in 2015. He graduated from Wimbledon College of Arts in London, MA Painting class 2016. He currently works at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma as lab technician in painting. He's one of the founders of the artist run space Rione Placido, opened in January 2023. Amongst his recent project stand out his solo show at Blocco 13 in Rome in 2023, at Cartavetra in Florence in 2021, his collaboration with DOM in the show CAMPFIRE at India theatre in the same year, and the artist residencies in Estonia in 2019 and 2022.
