Pietro Gottuso is an Italian painter and illustrator. Raised in Rome, he pursued studies in the humanities and the arts, earning degrees in Theology, in Sacred Scripture and Ancient Near Eastern Languages, and in Philosophy. He also refined his skills in painting techniques and illustration at Officina B5 (2017–2019). Working mainly in acrylic on paper or wood, his artistic practice is marked by an essential, direct and conceptual style. Through simple, symbolic images, Gottuso builds a visual language that invites reflection and contemplation.
