The graffiti artist BONE was born in Rome in 1983. He began painting graffiti in 1995. From 1998 to 2001, he was part of the MCA crew. In 2001, he joined the historic Roman crew TNT, focusing on volume without ever neglecting style. He grew up between Rome, Warsaw, and London, absorbing the various styles he encountered and blending them into his own. In 2017, he participated in the "LE PERSONALI DI GRAFFITI ZERO" festival, aiming to showcase the fundamental stages of graffiti writing and his own ongoing evolution—moving from the simple tag to complex, fully developed lettering—while remaining true to the graffiti world. As he deepened his study of calligraphy and lettering, he ventured into the realm of abstraction. His keen sensitivity toward nature led him to explore and study subjects related to the planet, animals, and the environment, utilizing watercolor techniques. Through these themes, he develops a profound reflection on the relationship between humanity and the natural world, inviting the viewer to pause and contemplate the issues and responsibilities concerning our planet.
