Martina Donati was born in Rome in 1982. She is a visual artist, illustrator, and author. A graduate in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, she teaches engraving and experimental techniques, including *Cromoplaxgrafia*, a field in which she was invited by Master Pere Pons to participate in an artist residency in Menorca. Her artistic practice explores the dialogue between mark, material, and image through graphic languages and experimental processes.
She works in editorial design, illustration, and exhibition organization, curating artistic projects where art becomes a space for dialogue between memory, identity, and the contemporary world. As an educator, she leads creative workshops and guides artists and students through the creative process of making a work of art.
She is also the author and director of *Solo per un'ora* ("Just for an Hour"), an autobiographical theater piece that intertwines theater, live music, and diverse vocal styles, creating a dialogue between the spoken word, sound, and storytelling. The project explores themes of memory and transformation, drawing on a personal experience that opens up to a universal dimension.
She manages the production and organization of cultural events while simultaneously facilitating SoulCollage® sessions, creating opportunities where art and personal growth intersect.
