Chiara Rapaccini, known as "RAP", is originally from Florence and lives in Rome, where she holds the Chair of Illustration at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design). A painter, sculptor, illustrator, and writer, she has published numerous books for children and adults, in addition to collaborating with various newspapers.
In 2008, together with Monicelli, she wrote and produced the documentary "Vicino al Colosseo c’è Monti".
Her works have been exhibited around the world, from New York to Buenos,Tokyo, Havana, and Paris.

With her satirical comic strips "Amori Sfigati" (“Unfortunate Loves”), she won the “Andrea Pazienza” award as Best Web Author.

In 2019, she created the documentary "AMORI DI LATTA – Close Encounters with Teenagers" for Rai Storia, directed by Graziano Conversano, which premiered at the Rome Film Festival in the “Alice nella Città” section.

She produced an animated short for the “Torniamo a Sorridere” (“Let’s Smile Again”) campaign for the City of Bologna's 2021 New Year’s celebrations.
Her novel "AMORI SFIGATI" was published by De Agostini in 2020. In October 2021, she released "Piccoli Amori Sfigati" (“Little Unfortunate Loves”) with Beisler Editore.

In 2022, the collection of RAP’s best comic strips, "100 AMORI SFIGATI", was published by Psicografici Editore.

Her latest book, MIO AMATO BELZEBÙ – The Bittersweet Life with Monicelli and Friends, was published in 2023 by Giunti Editore and won the Afrodite Prize.

In 2024, she was awarded the Bertoldo Prize for Satire and Humor.
