As a photographer, Marco explores a variety of techniques to create his images; pinhole cameras made from walnuts or LIDAR scans are just a few examples of a photographic style in which the *medium* that produces the image is part of the narrative

Marco Gennari (born in 1998) studied at the Faculty of Photography at IED Rome and later specialized in editorial photography at ISIA Urbino. He has taken part in workshops and residencies both in Italy and abroad, and has participated in exhibitions and performances.
"Photography, to me, is the act of extracting the memory of what I observe and know, transforming it into something tangible. In this process, the beauty of a single image is important, but even more valuable are the emotions that an entire project is able to evoke. The materialization of memories through photography forms the core of my work, and the techniques I use vary greatly from project to project."
