I am Francesca Pietropaolo, after graduating in Human Biology at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, I pursued studies at the RUFA Academy of Fine Arts, also in Rome, earning a degree in painting.
Since always, with a great passion for painting and writing, a cathartic redemption of my most hidden and troubled moods emerges in my works.
Taking inspiration mainly from German Expressionist artists, I favor two-dimensionality, line, and bright colors. In my Abstracts, an immediate and wild instinct prevails.
These works, "Cosmic Melodies," are inspired by the celestial bodies of the Universe. In the Cosmos, incandescent meteors leave their luminous trails, the glow of falling stars spreads through space evoking the explosion between matter and the intangible, where color overflows and disperses. The material and the abstract dance in unison, expanding into immensity, in a play of music and color.
And so my colors perform in a free, original symphony, splashing onto the canvas as if under the pure direction of imagination and chance.
