Born in Rome to a family of Piedmontese and Amalfian origins, landscapes of mountain and sea, that leave their mark, I received a musical education from an early age, thus focusing on cello. Meanwhile, I attended a scientific high school of the capital and took afternoon drawing and painting classes with the independent artist Valentina Ambrosi-Sacconi, also mosaic artist at the Fabbrica di San Pietro.
Before graduating, I participated in the Summer Residency Program at the Academy of Fine Arts in New York City, which opened my eyes to the international scene and encouraged me to continue my studies in London at the University of Westminster. I thus developed an artistic research and critical thinking, addressing themes of creative production in relation to local ecologies, the movement of body and mind, and phenomenological perspective within ecosystemic contexts. I also cultivated an interest in thought and creativity as experienced in original cultures and indigenous communities, past and present.
I’ve delved into these topics by attending two master degrees in Environmental Philosophy and Ecological Thinking - Schumacher College, University of Plymouth (Ecological Design Thinking, 2024); University of Roma Tre (Environmental Humanities, 2025).
Today, I'm exploring Permaculture, its principles, and practices as guidelines for creating productive gardens conceived as living, energetic sculptures.
