Laura Mega, an artivist active on the international contemporary art scene, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and the University of Image in Milan (a school on the five senses created by photographer Fabrizio Ferri).

Her work is in the collections of the Moleskine Foundation (Milan), KOU Gallery (Rome), MuMo-Museum Montanelli (Prague), Fondazione Donà dalle Rose (Venice), and private collections.
In addition, she has had collaborations with PULSE Art Fair - Art Basel Miami, SOME SERIOUS BUSINESS (Los Angeles), Culture Monks (India), Task Force for Music and Arts – TaFMA (Nagaland, India), Seconda Chance Association (Rome) for the Relational Art Project “La Parola Libera” (Words Set Free) inside the Rebibbia prison in the High-Security women’s detention section.
Winner of the Grant Culture Moves Europe with the project “Cyprus Memory”, a site-specific artistic installation in Nicosia, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, funded by the Goethe Institut and European funds.
