In 2023 Ilaria Paccini exhibited her artworks in Roskilde (DK) with the collaboration of Thorvaldsen’s Museum of Copenhagen, after attending an artistic residency in such a Museum to study the sculpture’s technique of Bertel Thorvaldsen. Both Thorvaldsen, by Carrara marble, and Paccini, by the industrial steel, seek a kind of natural beauty of the material to which they give a conceptual meaning, which is the basis of their own works. Furthermore the "Ancient", with all its system of symbols and suggestions linked to the Myth, has been an inexhaustible source of suggestions for Thorvaldsen, as well as it is today for Ilaria Paccini.
In 2023 Ilaria Paccini won: the extemporaneous painting in Poppi (Ar) and the extemporaneous street art painting “Panchine d’artista” for the Municipality of Pratovecchio (Ar); she was selected for the first edition of the Roman Riviera Biennal and for the exhibition in Palazzo Ruspoli (Cerveteri), furthermore she won the Call application “Culture in Movimento” for a project in partnership with ISPRA. In 2024 her artworks were exhibited in FESTIVAL DELLE SCIENZE 2024, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone - Roma. The big aluminium plates, painted in 2023 for the project ROMA SPECIALE – ALIENI IN MOVIMENTO A ROMA CAPITALE, were exhibited in Rome, at the Galleria Alberto Sordi. In 2024 she painted a mural for La MaMa ETC - Manhattan, New York City - where you can still see her artwork "Blue Crabs" painting on oxidized aluminium plates.
