The construction of the archive, the setting up of the exhibitions, the drafting of critical texts and of the presentations, an activity which is renewed with every artist
Data and contact details

Finding a hint or trail about the life of an artist, perhaps on the back of a personal letter, has always made me feel like a sort of art detective. I have never found researching in libraries boring when I was making the theses for my two master's degrees and my postgraduate specialization course, nor even the reconstruction of artist archives, an activity which is still absorbing a considerable part of my professional life.

It is thanks to this very work that I curated my first exhibition at Accademia Ligustica, dedicated to Giovanni Novaresio, one of the most popular avant-garde painters in the 1950s in Liguria. The encounter with colleagues and gallery owners then led me to partially abandon the “sweaty papers” to dedicate myself to the drafting of critical texts (the latest of which for Ugo Nespolo's solo exhibition in Imperia) and the curation of peronal exhibitions for Italian and international artists for private galleries and institutions.
