Sofia Marzorati is a curator, editor and actress. She graduated in Cultural Heritage Sciences from the University of Milan and has developed a multidisciplinary professional path combining visual arts, writing and performance, supported by a background in music, dance and acting.

In the field of contemporary art, in 2024 she collaborated with Artuu, an online art magazine, working as an editor and contributing articles, interviews, news management and content publishing. At the same time, she began working as an independent curator, developing solo and group exhibitions in Rome and other Italian contexts.

Her curatorial projects include Dimensione verticale by Romeo Battisti in Proceno; Il cavaliere nero by Massimo Di Mauro and Davide Di Vico, presented as part of Rome Art Week; the group exhibition I colori attraversano la vita; Apparenza e realtà by Romeo Battisti, also presented during Rome Art Week; and, in May 2026, Custodi del silenzio by Claudia Farrace at WAV in Rome’s Monti district.

Alongside her curatorial practice, she has gained experience in cultural communication, including podcast production for Radio Onda Lago, while also pursuing a professional career in acting. She has worked as an actress in television and audiovisual productions including La porta rossa, directed by Carmine Elia; Fosca Innocenti, directed by Giulio Manfredonia; and the series Riv4li, directed by Alessandro Celli for Netflix and Stand By Me.

Her multidisciplinary background — spanning music, dance, acting and art-historical studies — contributes to a professional practice based on connecting different languages and disciplines, with particular attention to writing, cultural project development and collaborative work.
