Enrico Magnani is known for his abstract works with mystical and scientific themes. The "Supernova" pictorial cycle summarizes and conciliates this duality bringing attention to the huge nuclear explosions at the end of a star's life which gives birth to new stars. The supernova is thus a symbol of the cyclicity of the universe, geometric perfection dialogues with the caos of color explosions in balance between order and disorder. A hymn to the complexity of life.
