The Sant'Egidio art workshops were established in 1985 in response to the need for integration of mentally disabled people. Their search for their aptitudes led them to explore their communication skills and to the development of personal expressive and artistic codes.
Free of charge and open to all, the workshops are places where to meet, but also cultural reference points in suburban peripheries lacking spaces for artistic creation.
