Quintessenza

The artist has a poetics of imagery that contemplates classical figuration, revisiting and renewing it with dramatic irony and wisdom. "His Holiness Instagram" is a powerful denunciation of the current state of art: an image could be constructed or invaded by pixels, without or with minimal human intervention; these minimal geometric forms could absorb and suffocate, in an instant, our bodily and spiritual dimensions.
