Marta Pacini
Biologist of the Visible, I do not observe nature—I am a cell among cells. In my paintings, I use exclusively natural supports to fuse humanity and ecosystem.
Data and contact details

Marta Pacini is based in Rome and works as a Biologist of the Visible. Her research is rooted in a childhood fascination with insects and a lifelong practice of primal wilderness survival—a way of inhabiting the wild and reconnecting with ancestral rhythms.

Following a degree in Evolutionary Biology and several years of experience in environmental monitoring for ARPA Lazio, Pacini chose art as a tool for social impact, recognizing the vital importance of translating scientific data into a universal message. While as a biologist she analyzes the infinitely small worlds that sustain us, as an artist she continues to monitor the balance among living beings through painting.

Having studied at the Rome University Fine Arts (RUFA) and through private mentorship, her exhibition history includes participation in the 2026 Open Art competition at the Biblioteca Angelica and her first solo exhibition, held on April 25, 2026, at Villa Lea in the Coppedè district of Rome. Today, Marta Pacini develops artistic projects that combine a passion for environmental protection with the pursuit of profound inner peace—an invitation to rediscover our connection to the earth and recognize ourselves as part of a single, greater organism.
