DIEGO STELLA – Short Biography
Artist, musician, and performer, Diego Stella has cultivated since an early age a profound passion for painting and music, two languages that intertwine in his work as part of a continuous pursuit of harmony and expressive freedom. He graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he dedicated his thesis to Mario Schifano and the Roman School of Piazza del Popolo, demonstrating a natural affinity with the innovative and experimental spirit of that artistic season.
Originally from Rome, Stella reinterprets that legacy in a contemporary key, keeping alive the dialogue between tradition and modernity, and becoming a bridge between past and present. His production is characterized by an intense and vibrant use of color, by lines that intertwine with urban and poetic suggestions, and by a visual language capable of merging emotion and reflection.
After years of study and experimentation, he has developed solid technical mastery that allows him to move seamlessly from painting to sculpture, from installations to performances, as well as to writing and music—an artistic journey that breaks boundaries and transcends categories.
His works have been exhibited in national and international exhibitions, receiving recognition from both the public and critics. Some of them have been featured on the covers of art and culture publications, standing out as iconic images with strong visual and symbolic impact.
