Vincenzo Scolamiero is a Professor of Painting at the Department of Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, where he lives and works. His first monographic exhibition was held at the historic gallery Al Ferro di Cavallo in Rome in 1987 and his solo exhibitions have been on display in prominent public and private spaces in Italy and abroad. He has presented his works in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Turin, New York, Seoul, Busan, Beijing, and Fenghuang. In spring 2019, the personal exhibition at the Carlo Bilotti Museum in Rome, The slant shadow, curated by Gabriele Simongini had almost twelve thousand visitors.The catalogue was from De Luca Editori d'Arte with the essays of Gabriele Simongini, Roberto Maria siena, Pietro Roccasecca, Nicola Davide Angerame e Raffaella Salato.From 2021/22 the exibition On Silence and Transparency at Museum of Palazzo Pubblico in Siena and to Chigiana Academy Musical Foundation organized by the Municipality of Siena , department of Culture and inner room Siena. De Luca Editori D'Arte Calaogue presents essays by Francesca Bottari, Tiziana D'Acchille, Giuliana Stella.
On may 2022 he was protagonist of Alberto Dambruoso's Critical Tuesday with interventions by Roberto Gramiccia, Gabriele Simongini and Alberto Dambruoso.
