Art advisor and exhibition curator, Simona Brusa has made contemporary art and its
markets the center of a path built between Italy and Europe. Born in Varese in 1970, she graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan: a discipline that refines her gaze on forms and space.
It is in London that that look finds its vocation. He works at Sotheby's, in the Department of Ancient Drawings, and continues to Agnew's gallery on Old Bond Street. In those years he collaborated with the Art Loss Register - the database of stolen works of art - in the research and recovery of paintings lost during the Second World War, in dialogue with the Carabinieri Nucleo Tutela Patrimonio Artistico and the Interministerial Commission of Rome. In 2000 she was called to the Royal Collection, in St. James's Palace, as assistant to the curator of the paintings and miniatures of the Royal Collection, with exhibitions at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. Back in Italy in 2003, she started a long collaboration with the Carlo Orsi Gallery in Milan, signing set-ups for major international exhibitions - from the Florence Antiques Biennale to Masterpiece London, from TEFAF Maastricht to Flashback Turin. Since 2015 he has lived in Rome, where he collaborated with the Alessandra Di Castro Gallery in Piazza di Spagna. Today, based in the capital, it supports artists, galleries,
museums, foundations and auction houses: it promotes emerging art and brings culture closer to the public and collectors through exhibitions and events. Since 2025 he has been a member of the Board of
Directors of the Church of Artists of Piazza del Popolo in Rome and Technical Advisor for the
diplomacy of culture in the parliamentary sphere.
